This is more than a good idea, it's a freaking fantastic one. Hey *waves* I'm Lucy..or Monday, whichever you prefer. I'm 20 and an English chicka, wanting to jump on the recovery boat. Why? Because i believe life holds more than just restriction and numbers, it holds life..exactly that - life. :)
I ask..as a young female, looking around the world and at every other woman in it...why? Why do people of today aspire to be something completely unattainable? Completely different? Why cannot we simply accept, be content and learn to love who we are? Is it simply how we have been raised, is it the generation we live in or is it the media; the posters and the adverts of airbrushed and 'enhanced' (if that's the word for it..) images of women we don't know, have never seen and never will. Maybe it's the world we live in today, everyone wants to be something they're not, something they can't be..which just so happens to be the un-naturally thin, perfect complexion, artifcial eyelashed and full, thick, fake hair appearence. It's not only unattainable..it's impossible, maybe. We all have beauty, every single person is beautiful. We need to accept this, change starts with you.
So i guess my question is, why the hell just don't we. Love yourself, embrace yourself and be yourself because at the end of the day that is the biggest accomplishment we can make. This is the person i used to be, shiney..bright..confident..smiley..natural. I'm not that person anymore, but i'll fight like hell to be there again, to reinvent myself as the person i was meant to be; happy and healthy, because that's what we're all meant to be. Content and confident. Be yourself, stay safe, love life. xxx
