Dear Little Hanna,
Let me first say that you are a wonderful little girl and have nothing to fear, you are safe and everything is going to be all right.
I write you this letter some twenty years on from where you are right now and I'm doing so because there are some things I really need for you to know.
Firstly, you are beautiful, just as you are. Do not let anyone tell you any different. I start with this as I know this is something you find hard to believe, especially when others are unkind. But remember, their words may hurt you but you are loved and always will be.
Please don't believe you need to change. Your body is a temple, nourish it, love it and treat it well. Look after it and enjoy it, for it is amazing!
Keep Smiling, because when you do you light up the room and make others smile too.
You do not need to get everything right, every single time. You are allowed mistakes and you will make many, but that's okay! You are human. You are you.
To those who have and will hurt you, you are stronger because of them.
To the boys that will break your heart, they will never know what they are missing. Thank them, for if it wasn't for them, you wouldn't have the wonderful family you are destined to have.
Hanna, you are not a horrible person. You are incredible. You are a strong little lady and I know you are going to become a strong and inspirational woman.
I’ve seen the future and although you will have your battles, you are always going to come out fighting. You have so much to give the world, so much to share. Many places to see and wonderful things to do. There is much laughter to be had, yummy foods to be eaten, incredible people to meet and happiness to be found and given.
The world is your oyster and you are not alone. Life is beautiful and you deserve the best.
Enjoy each day as it is precious. Laugh, love, cry when you need to.
Believe in yourself, I do.
And keep dreaming big because one day real soon, all those dreams will come true.
In fact, they already are.
I love you, just as you are.

I wanted to share this with you as I have found this to be a really healing and powerful exercise to do.
Write a letter to your younger self today.
It may make you a little sad but it feels incredible too.
With Much Love, Smiles & Support,
